Conifer Community Center Hosts Logo Contest

The Conifer Community Center invites all local graphic artists to participate in a logo contest for this new non-profit organization whose purpose is to provide a quality, environmentally friendly facility to include indoor and outdoor amenities and activities for community members of all ages.

The center will serve to bring our community together in healthy, productive, creative activities and provide a place where people can gather, learn and grow through a variety of classes, seminars and special events.

Logo designs must be submitted by Aug. 31, 2008. To submit a design, send a query to the Conifer Community Center through the “contact us” page on the Web site, conifercommunitycenter.com.

Area residents will have the opportunity to vote on their favorite logo through the Web site between Sept 1 and Sept. 30. The winning logo will be featured on all Conifer Community Center materials with credit to the artist.

Learn more about the logo contest and other information about the Conifer Community Center at the next public meeting, set for 7 p.m. Thursday, July 31 at Beaver Ranch, on Foxton Road off Highway 285. The meeting agenda includes brief updates about public relations, fund-raising, site selection and special district plans. It will also feature a public forum for questions and comments. All community members are invited to attend.
